Low Slung T

Hello, getting a street rod title for a t-bucket in Pa. has too much unnecessary things involved. Being from Pa. I know how much of hassle it is.Once you get the title it should make t-bucket worth five grand more in value in my honest opinion !
 
So one of the big things holding me back is the electrical in the new garage in Texas. No 220 at all. So no welder. And the 110 circuits that are wired in are not sufficient to run my tools like my air compressor and my chop saw. So I finally got around to getting the supplies I needed and committed myself to running a 220 line and a new 20 amp 110 circuit. Not fun at all!!! Lol. The attic above my garage where I’m running my wires is like 1,000,000 degrees!! Have to do it in steps. So far I have all my new boxes hung and the 110 wiring run from the wall boxes to the breaker box. Hopefully tomorrow I can get my 220 line run and some of the outlets connected up.

Having the infrastructure in place is as important as any part of the project.

I started ordering shop tools and supplies about a year ahead of ordering my kit, so I'd be ready to go, or at least close to it, when the kit finally came.
 
Lincoln is a very old tried & true brand .I don't know much about the mig welders but ,their arc welders outlast the owners.
 
Probably going to be getting this kit to mount my shocks along with a set of the speedway short shocks. I'm going to have to cut them up a bit though. Will need to make them taller and probably skinnier. I do think that friction shocks MAY be nicer for my build but I'm not really interested in messing around with adjusting them at any frequency.

DonnyRay - I love my Lincoln. This one will Mig, Tig, Arc, and can use a spool gun for aluminum. I haven't used it for anything other than mig yet but do plan on getting the Tig set up for it and trying to learn that. It's been good to me so far.
 
Don’t buy something you need to modify. Make a cardboard template you want and send it to Ron at RPM and he can cut out exactly what you want. Easy pezy!

Your right. I just sent him a email to start the process of getting the shackle mounts and the shocks. I'll get them set up and go from there.
 
This may not look like progress to some, but for me, this is a big step. Since I moved, I have loathed my new garage. Even though it’s bigger, it just doesn’t feel right. Anyways, I got up my white boards and recreated my “List”. I had this in my old garage, but somehow lost the picture I took, or think I took, of it before moving. Well now I have it back and I’m ready to go!

Thinking about my fuel system return line. I’m thinking with my tank above my entire fuel system and the bung for the return line in the bottom of the tank, I may have a back feeding problem when the car isn’t running which may give me problems. Does anyone have experience with this on an injected system.
I have an idea on how to make the return line go to the top of the tank but I’m not sure what fitting they make that will allow me to run a line through the bung, inside the tank, to the top.
Other idea is putting a check valve in the return line.
Any of you guys/gals have any thoughts on this?
 
I think I get it. Also just realized the force of gravity will be pushing the same on both the feed and return line.
