    26 coupe build

Nice... I finished my 26 coupe a couple of years back. Well mostly finished, finished if you think flat black is a paint color. Ford 8.8 rear, 2300, ford c-3, full fendered, un-cut top. But then I went and built a teardrop trailer... The car did OK pulling the trailer. That is as long as it...

    Where to place jack...

I bought a used quicklift, makes working on the cars so much less of a pain. Doing the body work on the coupe was much easier with bottom of the body about waist height. for working under the car the height is perfect when working on a creeper. when its not in use I just park the car on it. Best...

    Insani-T Coupe Build

very cool dash. And making the car wider will be great. I have a 26 and while it has lots of head room, hip room is limited.

    Gauge RECOMMENDATION

I had a set of TPI... Junk, customer support, useless, Warranty? Nope. Bought Autometer, put them in they all work. and are still working. The Autometer cost less then the TPI's Because there in the car, not sitting in a box

    Perfect Donor Car?

All ford... Mustang 5.0 The 8.8 is more then up to the job of moving a bucket around, tons of parts for a 5.0 out there, They built plenty of them and they are pretty cheap. You could take the entire drivetrain from the Mustang if you just have to have a V-8 Or Thunder bird... Just missed a...

    Who Manufactured My Steering Box?

The mustang steering boxes were offered in to different ratios fast at 16:1 and Slow at 19:1 Can't tell if your box has the long or short steering input shaft from the photos, but both long and short are available with slow or fast ratios. I think Pete & Jakes makes an after market Pitman arm...

    shop air

Truck brake air line and fittings... Of course because I run a truck repair shop I have a lot of this air line, and the fittings. Valvac makes the fittings with a screw eye so they can be anchored to the wall, I think that's who makes the fittings for Rapidair. I just use a bulkhead fitting and...

    Where is this MC from???

Bill, whatever it is... It only has single hydraulic circuit. If you have a leak in the brake system you will have no brakes. There is a good reason that they switched to dual circuit master cylinders.

The itch to cruise is real itchy!

I tried Florida, hated it. Five years in Ocala... This storm was not really a big deal, only took about an hour to clean up the driveway. Of course I spent more time helping other people on the block with theirs. Only problem with this snow is 3' is just too deep for donuts in an unplowed...

Yea.... got up this morning with 3 feet of snow on the ground... so I had to dig out the snow-blower... But just in case I cleared a path to the shed so I can still get the coupe out if I want.... ;)

    Wire disconnects

Yes your right, weather pack is a two stage crimp... they don't however need to be done at the same time. First you crimp the plug onto the wire.. then you crimp the seal into place. those pliers will do just fine. In fact this same tool was supplied to my company by Weatherpack when I ordered...

    Wire disconnects

Another vote for the Weather pack 22 pin plug, I've used thousands of them in the truck industry. Great products. Add a plug kit like this and you should have every plug your car could need. http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/460-piece-weather-pack-kit-p-379.html
