    T-bucket in Nissan commercial

Thanks! Had a post up here on a local hotrod site "looking for hotrods for a commercial" Most of the guys were more interested in how much they would get. I just thought it would be neat to see my car in a commercial. So I sent them to pics of my toys and an hour later I got a "We have to...

    T-bucket in Nissan commercial

Hello folks, been a while since I have been around these parts. Life, sick pups and more sick pups have taken the last couple of years. I had the opportunity to have my bucket used in a Nissan commercial it is supposed to air "somewhere in the USA" So I have no idea of where or even when it...

    New Computer

I have been playing around with the Windows 10 Technical release. I am looking forward to its release. Its a very nice system so far. Only thing I do not like is all the crap they have running on install, everything wants to connect to the network to update itself constantly. Easily fixed by...

    HELP! I'm old!

Most of the newer browsers will support the ctrl + and ctrl - commands to increase/decrease font size. You can also hold the ctrl key down and scroll with the mouse wheel.

Let’s Encrypt is a new free certificate authority

Hell I only need a single domain wildcard cert. I am in the process of (shudder) allowing remote access to our email server. I do not necessarily need an outside cert as I run an inside CA. But the newer IE's tend to just block the website with a "Cannot connect" error when using a...

Let’s Encrypt is a new free certificate authority

I did not realize that certs had come down that much in price. I was looking a couple years ago and it was along the lines of $300+ a year.

Anyone went through Chemo with your dog?

Pup is in Full remission. Has gained back all the weight he lost at the beginning, and is back to being a goof and a pain in the ass, I am a happy camper.

    New Carb

It took me a bit to dial in my Holley 390 on my 350 (see long thread on my adventures) but once I did, I have been extremely happy with it.

    Where to place jack...

That rad hose idea is outstanding. I bet you could just cut it and wrap it right around the axle. I will have to check the stash for some pieces.

    Where to place jack...

I put a cloth on the jack and use the axles.

Anyone went through Chemo with your dog?

Update: 3 weeks in and we have "Partial remission" all the nodes minus one in his neck have shrunk to normal levels. Cody has no clue what is going on, he is happy, goofy and very annoying with his ball...HAHAHA. So far he has tolerated the treatments very well, no issues other then wanting...

Project "Obie" Got it's first parts.

That is sweet, long and low. Having it that low, hides the stretch of the body. Slight lean on the windshield, not sure what straight up and down would do to the look. Thats the advantage of bringing it out in the sun. Get some plexiglass and some tube and start playing!

It was a Little Chilly But...

I bought a bomber jacket just for those occasions. Really funny laughing at all the strange looks you get when its 40 degrees and you are out in a roadster :D 2nd best purchase, is some wind pants. Makes a HUGE difference in the comfort on the cooler days.

    Price for upholstery

There are a few posts in the "body" tech group here. If you are a member of the HAMB, take a look in the upholstery social group, there are a bunch of How-to's in there. Here is what I did: Bought the best sewing machine I could afford, industrial, walking foot, with reverse. If it did not...

    Liquid Rust Removers

Well how long do you have? If you just want to soak them for a while (all of these rust removers like it you dip/soak them) you can use straight vinegar, or molasses, or if you are pressed for time, electrolysis. These options are much cheaper then buying enough of the rush remover to dip...
