Hey Guy! Heads up on all this fuel with Ethanol....

I have first hand experience with Alky blended gasoline, in my case a boat. The fuel actually did separate leaving gasoline on top layer and a thin layer of what I think is alcohol (milky) and water underneath. Funny thin is I shook it up in a mason jar and it never recombined, it layered out. Steve

    Winters quick change

That winters rear sure is nice.

    Tri Bar rear setup

Yeah, I like it to. Anything to get rid of a panhard bar, also you can put a deeper gas tank in too. Tires stay centered as the rear goes up and down, much better design IMHO.

    Finally Finished

You know, it is seeing a finished project like this gives the rest of us the inspiration to keep us moving forward on ours. Exceptional workmanship right on down to the shifter knob, which I'm in love with. All I can say is wow. Steve

    Two holley 94 little fat

Recommend welding a bung in the exhaust down pipe and buying a wideband then start from there, otherwise you are shooting from the hip.

    Check your tilt columns

Understood Golly. Here in the states SEMA legislation is getting approved on a state by state basis. Basically it is government legislation in the form of a bill that when adopted becomes state law. It's mission is to relax stringent emission and other governing vehicle laws for the hobbiest and...

    Check your tilt columns

Ben, I asked some pointed questions to the Speedway customer service person, they said that that part number and particular column was pulled because of the issue I had. My understanding is the replacement column and new part number is comprised of GM components. I will follow up to verify this...

    Check your tilt columns

Kudos to the LVVTA for watching "all" the backs (worldwide) of Hot and Streetrodders. I'm not all too fond of government telling the people what to do or trying to protect us against ourselves but in this case, for some reason, I'm thankful. I can only think about what could of happened if the...

    Check your tilt columns

Built my T in 2011, got a couple thousand miles on it and noticed while down at the NATs cruising around Lake Tahoe that the column got a wiggle in it while the car is at speed. Closer inspection revealed the tilt mechanism had developed slop in it. When I got home, I pulled the receipt and...

Fred, looks like you will be able to make the NTBA after all in Carson City next week.;)

    Steering column question

You are onto something here. They say you need to build the same house three times to get it right, maybe the same theory for a hotrod. If I built another T it would definitely have a steel column support inside the dash, somehow tied to the frame below. You do get cowl shake and it will...

Restoring 1970's California T-bucket with Tube Frame

Looks like he is using flat top pistons, a 58cc chamber would be too much compression unless he uses a dish piston.

Restoring 1970's California T-bucket with Tube Frame

Sorry to hear Fred, that's a hell of a lot of work, disassembling when you are dealing with shiny parts. Good luck on the reassembly and yes pick yourself up some compcams zinc additive or equivalent.
