    T Bucket Interiors

Well, my first attempt which I am still equipped with is a homemade bench seat. But, after 2 years with it I am not happy, need to sit lower....so, I am going to try Potvinguy's idea of office chairs. Here is what I am thinking. I have one on order to see if it will achieve what I am looking...

    protecting brushed aluminium

I have also heard of shark hide.....but, nobody could verify how well it worked. Seems to be big in marine applications. I would be eager to hear from anyone that used it. I polished my powerglide and thought that there must be something to protect or preserve the shine.....but, now a year...

    Top Cruising Speed

I used to rebuild diesel engines and tried to get the owner of the shop to sponsor a T bucket built with a 6 or 8V-92 Detroit Diesel as a promotional piece......could not get him to pull the trigger on it. Bigger issues would have been ginning up a front suspension to support the weight and a...

Gerry, You may want to check with Racing Transmission Info, I have contacted him in the past pertaining to a glide and got a timely response. He builds racing glides. I think he is located in Canada.

    Wind shield, wind deflectors

Thanks! Yeah, the extra 6" would be nice.....real nice! Pedal set up is not much different then most, so, no real room gained there. My only option currently is to reconfigure the seat to gain a bit.

    Wind shield, wind deflectors

Nice! I am 5'11 and 32" inseam and eat my knees! Not comfortable......But, with my current set up not sure what else I can do. Do you have a stretched body? Do you have a picture of your steering and pedal set up as they come through the firewall?

    Wind shield, wind deflectors

I sit way high in my bucket....my knee is almost the same height as the side of the bucket. Want to sit lower, looking at re-doing my interior this year to sit lower but, have limited room to do so. I would love to sit as low as EXJUNK!!

    Hunting for History...

I have tyo echo Hackerbuilt......it looks good, different and in my mind just needs some interior work. I got a bucket a couple years ago and tried to find who and where it was made......good luck, not an easy task. I like the C-cab and truck bed.....

    Top Cruising Speed

Hell, you cannot attract attention if you are going 100+ right? Well, to answer your question I have had mine to 100 mph but, that is on a smooth straight road and only wanted more.....blacktop that is! It ran smooth and straight, and my heart beat faster with each mph gained. The first time I...

    Ideas for steps?

I have seen a couple with either the Ford oval logo or Ford script cast which I like, and really like the idea of mounting to the radius rods which I never really thought about.....great idea! Usually I've seen them mounted to the frame, but, if you have a channel body it rules this option out...

    Front license plate

I just used 2 pieces of flat steel painted the same as my frame, bent back and attached on the spring retainer. You cannot hardly even see the backside and very cheap. it also hides the spring retainer bolts.
