40 Ford front axle

I've picked up a 40 Ford axle, complete with springs and unsplit wishbones. I'd like to use this assembly, complete, under a T-modified type ride with four cylinder power. I don't recall ever seeing this done. Is it a good idea? Pictures ,anyone?

It's been done but the spring mounted in front of the axle is going to cause your frame to be high off the ground. The best way to use this axle assembly is to cut the '40 spring from the wishbone, split the 'bone and mount a Model A spring between the 'bones.

I have used this sup on several cars and it works very well. if you deside to go this way, let me know. I'll walk you through it.
