The only problem is the kids of today don't realize who made up some of those good bands, as you can see here. Amazing, isn't it?

Then I must be Really, Really Old. The good bands to me were Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Harry James, Bob Wills, and the Dorsey brothers.

Nahh, you're not so old. When I was a child, I listened to the same music on those old 78 RPM records.

Funny how age and the things we like are relative. Years ago I worked for a radio station and put together and Oldies Night event where we played all 50's rock and roll. A man of about 80 walked up to me and said "I thought they were going to play OLDIES music. This isn't the Oldies I REMEMBER !!!!!!"

I may be only 48, but I like the oldies-too much of the stuff my kids listen to sounds like noise! (Oh, no! I'm starting to sound like my Dad-LOL!)

One of the positives of getting older is the list of "oldies" you listen to can keep getting longer and longer.

The other big advantage to getting older is that it opens up a whole new world of women who look attractive to you. Women that I would have never looked at when I was younger suddenly look damn good to me !
