I live in the "burbs" of Portland also (well, the politicians think so anyway). just 230 miles down I-5 to the South in Grants Pass.

Good stuff guys!! Thanks for the welcomes! I'm out in Hillsboro. I am planning on going the salt flats/ dirt track kind of look. I have the full running gear from the '67 mustang I rebuilt a few years back. 289, C4, 8" rear. I have some 600x19 excelsior comp v tires on Coker steel rears and 550x17s for the front I'll be picking up from the Coker truck at the Portland Swap meet in April.

I'll be building the frame and plan on a triangulated 4 link with coilovers in the rear and a Pete and jakes hairpin front end kit.
