Coil Over Rear End Set-Up

I'm tossing up either mounting the coil overs vertical or laid over 8-12 degrees. Is there any disadvantage having them vertical other than stiffer ride.
Ian.

Mounting them at an angle will help keep the chassis centered during it's travel.

You will probably adj for ride, but more angle reduces the spring rate affect.

I agree that they should be leaned in a little. I like them straight up and down on a drag car chassis, but for the street I think being angled inward a little helps control sideward movement. I have the ones on my latest rpu project angled in 13 degrees.
