    Hello

How can you tell the difference between an unchanneled body and a channeled body? Thanks

If you can see the frame under the body it’s not channeled. Most people channel the frame width to leave as much interior room as possible.

It's a pickle. Unchanneled, and the body looks too high and it's hard to get in without doors. Channeled and you give up 4 or 5 inches of cockpit depth and you stick out and look like you're sitting on top of the car.

I made that a little better. At my firewall I angled the frame to make the top of the frame at the rear of the body 3” lower than the firewall. That way I gain 3” of body height at the seat. It’s going to make the trans more in the car so I lose a little room but I’ll look cooler from the outside!

Mine is channeled, went with a low seat. Feels like sitting on the floor, but all good.

Mine isn't channeled. More head & cab room.
