Edelbrock 94

Wondering if anybody else has had the problem I had with Edelbrock. I built a flathead T bucket, fifties style and after trying to rebuild a decent 94 Holley carb, finally gave up and purchased a 94 carb from Speedway.

The new carb leaked gas out the access covers to the main jets. After a short discussion with the people at Speedway I sent the carb back. They sent another new carb that leaked as bad as the original carb they sent me. Again my Edmounds intake was stained up but no fire in the garage.

So this time I looked up Edelbrook's web site and found a phone number to talk with a human being. The technician I talked with said they had some bad, hard gaskets, took my address down. Four days later, I recieved gaskets from Edelbrock that also leaked. To fix the problem and stop worrying about a fire in my garage I took the covers and gaskets off one of my 60 year old Holley carb. Now the carb is dry and I am very pleased how the flathead runs.

Don't think I'll ever purchase any of Edelbrock's products again.
