I have a windshield ?

I want to put a 20" windshield on the car and I have a frame that has 3 sides , now which way would it go,with the open at the top or at the bottom with a piece of rubber between the glass and body

I would mount it with the frame at the bottom. That way you don't have the frame bar in your line of sight.

Open at the top but still put rubber at the bottom between the rail and the body.

Definitely with frame on the bottom between the mounts for solid mounting.
