Hello everyone! I am Hilary Pittenger, the Curator of Collections at the White River Valley Museum in Auburn, WA. We are currently working on a temporary exhibit called "Grease Was the Word", an exhibit about teens and car culture in the 1950s and 1960s. The exhibit will discuss car clubs, music and cars, drive-in theaters, and the impact of cars on dating.
One of the important set pieces we are looking for is a T-Bucket, preferably circa 1960s, that could be on display in the center of the gallery. The exhibit will be on display from August 13th through November 10th, 2013.
Do you or anyone you know in the Western Washington state area have a T-Bucket that you would be willing to loan out for this period? If so, please contact the White River Valley Museum and let us know!
