Has anyone digitized any old car pictures from the past that you would like to share?

Doing the camping thing from the mid 1950's.

I have been playing tennis for a long time.

And skiing for a long time too.

Something a lot more recent. The little boy is a nephew now in his 30's, but the '55 is a blown 427 Ford side oiler.

Did that Ford cabover have the air ride suspension on the cab (not on the axles)?
On the cab, made you think you were taking corners too fast. Had to remember my center of gravity was low, even though I was sitting in a leaning cab. It also had an electric powered door for sleeper entry, steps molded in for this that were made to match the OEM steps for front doors. Also grab bar is same and recessed like OEM. It had a sofa that pulled out to be a bed, plus a bunk bed above, a sink, refridgerator, and 6 station wet bar with the bottles in a slide out tray on the outside cargo door from the sleeper. Those open bottles were legal, stored in an outside access compartment. Had the basic big power of the day, 8V92TA at 435hp 1250lb/ft and a good old Road Ranger 13 speed.

I'm bummed, nobody has any digitized pictures of their old rides? Don't laugh too hard, this 1963 Ford Falcon was my first car. 170 cid in line six, single barrel carb, 3 on the tree non syncro 1st gear.

I have some old pics somewhere of my father's 1967 SS/RS camaro, but can't find them right now.

How about old racing photos? I know where I stored them.

Dad's old garage built Ford powered Sprint car, he had to make everything because nobody had Ford parts back then. Probably 1975.

The is the second Sprint he built, this one was not Ford powered... and he said it wasn't anywhere near as fast in the corners as the old Boss.

That was late in 1976.

Only have a few photos older than that, and they are from the late '60s.

This is me in 1975 on the beach at Sennan Cove, just 4 mile from Land End. Its just about where I was born.
Cutting up the sand was great fun but it cost me a set of rings. The 300 mile journey back home was like a scene from Highlander... smoke everywhere. My buddy said he could see where I was ahead of him by the smoke trail. Fun but costly.

Yep, I had the long hair and big bushy mustache back in the 70's too. Is that you with the mustache? Great pics both you and Gerry. Thanks for sharing.

I was about five or six when those pics were taken of my parents.

That's me in the 43 shirt with our friend Benny Howard. His son and nephews are ASCS sprint car drivers now.

He passed away a couple of years ago. So many pics and so many memories from my youth out there at the racetrack.

Don't know why flickr doesn't like me today.

I have a ton up on my myspace photo albums... :) I (well a friend lost them for me) lost 7 big boxes of old photos a few years back, I will have to scan in some from old shots in my scrapbook if there are any left... :)
Bummer Ted. Well scan and digitize everything you have left and you won't have to worry about losing those memories. Store copies on external drives and one set off location.
