Rooster 57,

My pleasure. I was a little uncertain about posting the pictures since it wasn't a T event, but if just one person appreciates the cars, it was worth it. Thank you for being that person. There was a 1961 Ford Starliner with the optional sound system from that era. It even pre-dates a 4 track tape, and that is a 45 RPM record player for the vehicle. The Boss Hoss trike has a 700R tranny that with a push of a button will keep converter locked and in whatever gear you choose for some fun "roll ons". I thought it was a nice mix of cars.

Bob, Thanks for the look, was food good, not bad prices... I see you are wasting HP, running that much oil pressure (30# is all that is needed)... :)

I'm betting it gets lower once the engine gets over 120* temp

Russ

Russ and Ted,

It is the oil pump from the old engine and I don't care for high volume pumps either, and definately would not have one on a Ford engine. Also the engine builder didn't bother to put a thermostat in, so 120 to 130 is normal. I know the engine would run better at 180.

I myself like the engine a bit cooler than 180, that "heat" is better for pollution matters... and I know they say heat is power, so let's not get in a tussle over this, just the way I like my engine to operate. :)

Thanks for the pics Bob. looks like a good time. of course as fate would have it my new ECM came in on Mondays UPS. I drove the T to work today (Wed) with an extra layer of long sleeve shirt, coat, gloves and a hat. looks like the last nice day today for a wile, with rain forcast to begin on Friday, so I HAD to drive it. I'll be ready for next year!

Russ

Lee_in_KC,

When the trike is at the same event as me, he edges me out for the best power to weight ratio contest. His ride is 290 lbs. lighter than mine.

Russ,
Looks like I'll have to wait for next year's cruising season to see you and the new ride. Start thinking of an excuse to meet me halfway and where.

Bob

Ted,

I forgot, did I ever get around to showing you these pictures? I currently use a cropped version of DSC01120 as my wallpaper. None of these are full resolution, but if you want any at full res, let me know and I'll email them to you.

Cool pics.
Dont know if its just me, but your pics are always too big for my screen. I have a laptop with a 17.5 inch screen and normally pics fit no problem. Just a mention from
Gerry

Gerry,

I do reduce the file size by 50% before posting. I use a 23" flat screen monitor and they are a little large for it. I'll post one reduced 66%, tell me how it fits your screen.

This one is perfect. Same size as most pics posted when its on my screen.

The second one is huge and I have to scroll both ways to see all of it.

Gerry

Bob, 66% is much better than 50% that fits on the screen just fine. :thumb:

Thanks guys, for future posts I know to reduce by 66%. Here is the world famous chassis man Ted.
