Powdercoating, a different slant.

That's remarkable stuff. Is it durable enough for suspension pieces? Springs, axles, radius rods, etc.

I'm going to do all the above parts (except the coilsprings) in it. Also did the prop at the same time as the trans.

With that bit done, I thought it might be nice to see it go from the case to the car. Started out by painting the odd bolt on bits yella (thats a nod to Ted Brown).

Probably worth mentioning here that I converted the trans to side fill/level bung to do away with the filler tube. Also blocked off the kick down cable hole as I will not be using it.

I've been thinking of going with this color called Ink Black on all of my front end parts.

Looks nice in these photos.

See if they have a sample of black chrome, its outstanding. Its chrome, as on my trans, with a black overlay. Almost went for it on the T.

Nice.

Here's Super Chrome with a Black Chrome II top coat.

Painted the rear mount and against common advice the Converter.

Onto the build, done by Kenny at STA in Aylesbury. Talk about taking care of the finish, he treated the trans like a glass ornament.

All done so Tony (in pic) and I took on the challenge to put the power plant back in the T without removing the body!!!!

And the final bit. Scratched some paint so I was pissed to say the least. Next time body off..

Thats all folks.

PS Got a chrome sump now thanks to a kind supplier that donated it for the T.

Do you have a name on that powder? I asked the pc guy and he said it was basically just an aluminum with clear over it and didn't look like chrome at all????? The clear changes it

Sorry I don't know the name of the powder. But if I recall its not alloy powder. Guggle is handy to see what's what. And yes, clear will change it to a silver, that's why I didn't have my parts cleared.
