I graduated high school 20 years ago this month. 22 years ago or so, I was cruising in my '77 International Scout. Not as cool as a bucket, but hey, 17 years old it didn't matter what the set of wheels was, as long as there was, a set of wheels. Anyway, had a cheap $40 Roadmaster AM/FM cassette player with a 200 watt booster/equalizer, 6" speakers in the doors and 6x9 in the back. It would rattle the windows! This got plenty of play time in the old truck. (note to self: go buy the CD!)
