Toe-in?

Got the T-bucket motor running nice so I takes it for a test drive. Notice the front tires squeal just awful on turns and it drives sloppy. Back to the garage and using a tape measure I measure a toe-in of 1.25"! I changed that to toe in of 1/16". Is 1/16" OK or should I set it to something else? thanks Installed the safety washers on the drag link too.

a sixteenth is a good place to start. My car likes 1/8". Its all about how it handles going down the road.

Thanks for the replies. I can't believe they were driving this thing with the toe so far off. I guess it's time for the string, tape measure and angle finders.
