Flipped the body yesterday to do the underneath of the trans tunnel. I had originally done it laying on my back, and it was not done well. I cleaned up that part this morning, and cut a new piece of mat to
cover the whole blooming thing. We'll see how it goes. More later.

Much like body filler, 1st coat does not always look great. Same with fiberglassing. Once this sets up, will move on from there, probably a bit of grinding, then maybe some cloth and finally body filler. The blue colored stuff is resin jelly, something I like to use to control dripping, the rest not colored blue is regular resin.
Don't mind the dark shadow on the left side. Trick of the light in my garage!

I think its well worth the effort, even if its never seen. Kind of a personal satisfaction thing.
Good on you for making the effort.

    Hey Gerry,

Does it start with body filler or mat? How did you get it to look so good.
