Whatever became of cfciii03 from Ohio? He was planning to use a Triumph TR-6 frame for a bucket build. If you're out there here's a shout-out!

Hi Spanky. The Tiumph TR6 evolved from the TR4. The chassis's could be the same. In 1968 the TR4 became a TR250 (TR5 in england) British Leyland replaced the TR4's 4 cylinder with an inline 6 cylinder engine (Tr4's body remained unchanged) in 1969 the TR6 went through a slight body change (retained the inline 6 cylinder engine from the TR250 or TR5) & was dubbed the TR6. British Leyland used the inline 6 cylinder from their current Vitesse model. British Leyland used many of the same parts on their different models. Therefore ; i think the chassis's are probably the same.

This post reminds me of childhood. My father owned many triumphs along with many others... he performed body work for several large car dealers and had inside connections to trade ins... before the auto auctions took over.
