WI to IL title transfer

Found the car and ready to buy. It has a WI title with VIN for a 23 T. What problems may arise trying to get the registration and title transferred to IL. Its a fiberglass body on an unknown by the owner year frame. Thank you

You really need to contact your local Bureau of Motor Vehicles, and have them provide you with the details. Procedures vary from state to state, and this site is just not equipped to handle legal matters, such as this.

Go talk to a title service , they should be able to tell you what you need..... be prepared topony-up the sales tax... that's really what they're after

I'd just take the Wisconsin title to your local Secretary of State office, they'll either issue you an Illinois title or tell you what you'd need to do to get one issued.
