Started to put the suspension bits back in today after a yellow coat. The interesting thing is that not having to worry too much about the paint means that you get to know all the pit falls and places that will cause problems after final paint is done. Every time I chip the yellow I am logging it in my mind. When it comes to final paint and reassembly I know exactly what and where the danger point are. I can either cover the paint with tape or some kind of covering to avoid the final finisher suffering from unseen glitches.
It always makes me feel great when I put things together like this. The chrome looks better, the home made bits seem to fit better and look like they belong. Its a happy day.
More work at the WEnd when I start on the front
