First of all, we want to welcome you to the T-Bucket Forums community. We're happy you've decided to register a new account. You are only minutes away from being able to post messages to our forums, to use our Personal Conversation system and so much more.

We want to take this opportunity to mention a few important site tips and give you some hints and pointers about the T-Bucket Forums:

We always recommend everyone take a look at the Forum Rules Page, to become familiar with how the T-Bucket Forums and its members are governed.

We also recommend you visit the Terms of Service Page, to familiarize yourself with our obligations to our members.

And last, but not least, we want you to visit our Privacy Policy Page, to see we take matters of privacy very seriously.

Once you have finished with all the fine print and the legal statements, we want to point out some other tips and pointers that will help you through the registration process.

First of all, one of our more successful anti-spam measures is how we aggressively disallow association of several e-mail domains to newly-registered accounts. Whilst we recognize this can seem to be an insurmountable obstacle, there are countless alternatives to using these providers. Please understand this policy has been in place since 11 April 2008 and there are no plans to change it. From time to time, it may become necessary to block even more e-mail providers.

Part of the registration process will require you to enter a valid and working e-mail address. Once you have submitted your registration data, an e-mail confirmation message will be sent to the e-mail address you registered. This message will contain a link you will have to visit, in order to complete your registration process. If you fail to visit the link within 7 days of your registration, your account will automatically be deleted by the forum software. So be sure to enter a valid e-mail account and double-check your spelling, to be sure the confirmation message will reach you.

The forum software makes extensive use of e-mail notifications for certain functions and all members are expected to maintain a valid and working e-mail address in their forum profile. Failure to do so will result in a reduction of your forum privileges.
