I doubt that anyone here wants to drive to Yuma to get a lift, but I thought just in case I would post the lift I have for sale. It is a Challenger 4 post, extended length and extended width, 9000 lb capacity, 220 volt single phase. The model is CL4 P9W. These lifts typically have pawls that extend outward to catch a ladder affair to lock the lift in place when raised, and are retracted to allow the lift to lower by the use of a lever that pulls a rod that goes to the pawl. The rod and pawl are attached by a clevis, with a nut on the end of the rod to hold it in the clevis. On my lift the nut has come off one of the rods, so the clevis cannot be pulled to retract the pawl. To fix it is a simple matter of screwing the nut back on, but you can't get your hands inside to do it without taking the lift apart. I am going to be making a lot of cabinets over the next year or so, and I could use some extra floor space in my shop, so since I would have to take the lift apart anyway to put the nut back on I might as well sell it for now and have the extra room. I have it listed for $2500 but would take less, especially for a forum member. This lift is only a year old, but you can get a new cheapie for about $3000 on the internet, so my hands are sort of tied.
