I found this pic on a Google search a while back and I'd love to get some extra pics and info on it. I think its pretty cool and it has that...urban asskicker Hot Rod look going on!
I figure someone on here knows or even owns it so its worth a shot! :D

Ok...having a problem...working on it! ;)

Here we go...

Really cool look , but seating position , getting in or out & being able to see where you're going could be problems !! {If you're taller than 5'-6"]

A little visualization and it really doesn't look lower than the OP avatar. It seems that the top is what really makes the car look low.

No, ?

Juan

I like it and I'd like to say my car is leaning towards that look a little more each build season...although I only found the picture a month ago!
Mine is a little higher off the road but I do sit about the same in it. (1" off the floor! LoL)
I'd really like to check it out from different angles and get some specs on it.
Looks like a low dollar build...by someone with a really good eye, to me anyway.
I'm soon gonna start building a top for mine as well...AND I planned on using a black 28 A grille shell I have.
Last year I made new friction shocks that are laid out almost exactly the same.
Hadn't even seen this car at that point. Wild! LoL

I guess it really depends on how low you sit. I wonder if a stretch body would be the way to go with a build like that. One for the room and secondly for the overall effect of the low and mean look.

From my perspective in trying to gain leg room, you either need a longer frame and body, or you need to move the seat up. If you want it low, I think length would be a necessity if you are an average or tall person. Cool look though!

l like it. BTW @Hackerbilt - I also like your sig. I have a neighbor who is so brand loyal he just painted his Ford a color he didn't like because the one he did like was a Chevy color. Ridiculous.

My body and frame were both stretched 10" in the cowl. the cowl has more of a 26 look than a 23 and I sit way down and comfortable.
Last year I changed things a bit by converting my spring behind to spring over. That took 4" out of the 114" wheelbase and I like the look much better now. Drives like a dream!

I'm really surprised nobody seems to have info on that car!
Really wish I had taken notice of the web page it came from in that Google search. Can't remember what I was looking for either! LoL
Guess I will have to do some extra searching on Google again!
Oh well...could be worse things than looking at T pictures. :D

409T... I came up with that sig as a respectful way to jab at a friend who is one of the most insanely brand loyal people I have ever met.
Always slamming other makes and the people silly enough to like them. (NOT on this site BTW...)
It rings so true that I now use it on several sites I like to hang out on.
I'm not brand loyal whatsoever. They've all had their hits and failures.
I like it all and just see the beauty in the various designs etc.

His response to it..."Oh look...a bodyman who reads."
I'm not really sure what that was supposed to mean either! Hahahaha

Right click on the image , select search google for image ...it's in a for sale ad in montana...better pics, top folds back for entrance , coilover on a truck-arm rear...

I've looked at that T a lot, since it got posted and there are quite a few things I like about it and just a couple I'd change. But the coolest thing about it, is the attitude. It looks fast, just sitting there. It has that "Hot Rod" look. It offers no excuses and is what it is. No frills or added crap to take your mind off what you're looking at. A bad ass. I'd go with a smaller tread width in the front and ditch the wind wings, zoomies and the top, But that's just me.

Oh.... check out the cowl and windshield post. It could be a stretched cowl and that would explain the windshield posts, that look like '27 posts. Makes me take a look at Ron's stretched body and wonder if '27 post would work on it. Hmmm..... the gears in my head are a turning. Thanks for posting the pic.

Thats where I'm trying to take mine...minimalist and bad ass...and its not an easy thing to do.
Due to our weather I will be putting a top and wind wings on mine.
Trying to get a really nice look and this one isn't it, roof wise unfortunately. A lot of other stuff I really like though!
Theres a lot of though went into that simple little terror.
Much respect to the builder. ;)

Not exactly what I would do for my build but I got a lot of respect for that guy doing that. It really looks great. The black, the stance, the chopped top, it just looks so badass.

I've seen some pretty nice homemade windshield posts/frames...

In reference to the brand loyalty, I have been in many debates with guys, to the point of not talking... I like things about most manufacturers stuff, and equally dislike things. I think there are things that each of them do better and some combinations are superior. Even the manufacturers use each other's parts, so who's to say what's what? There are some parts that are proven to be superior, and some guys can do more with things than others. It's really just personal opinion and taste, in the end we are all car guys, that make us sort of from the same cloth. Build what you like, if it don't do what you want, change it! I went to a Mopar nationals one year because I really like them. My best friend and I went in my sleeper, a 76 Ventura that looked like a nice basically stock car. It had a stout 455 with a tri-power and a Muncie 4-speed. It was no joke. We were driving down Brice road in Reynoldsburg with all of the other cars after the event. We were enjoying the cool cars of all makes. Then the idiots started yelling at the non Mopar guys and throwing beer cans, ect. I got pissed, I couldn't get out of line, and wasn't going to put up with it. Me and a guy in a mustang both lit it up and smoked the place out, no vision... At every stop light. It was pretty funny. Cost me a set of tires, but it shut them up! lol.

Thats a funny story. I had to laugh about the tires!
