If enough of you are interested I have loads of picture of the vertical steering column I made for Approaching Suicide.
Let me know and I will put them up in the tech section under chassis and steering

Please post them. If someone is rebuilding a car with one, it might help them too.

yeah post it. it'l help someone

OK
It will take me a little time to get it together so be patient.
Just so you know I have used a steering rack thats mounted along the chassis pointing to the steering arm. This way I get the advantages of a rack without it being in full view at the front of the bucket. Old trick but not done very much. Beats me why not as the feel of a rack on the road is much better than a steering box.
Ive had both.

Relying on memory here. Dan.. didn't you do something like that with ''the leg show''?

Ron

I have seen Gerry's T and it is mind blowing, the detail is fantastic. Please add as many pictures as possible as it is always a help to others.
I don't think the Leg Show used a rack and pinion, but the Uncertain T did.

I'm new to the group and would like to see the pictures of the vertical steering column you made. Tried looking on the site but couldn't find any. Can you point me in the right direction?
Thanks.
