So today was my first time ever down a track, let alone to be the only nut in a t-bucket to do it.

Had an absolute blast!

Learned a couple of things.

At 140kph it starts to get squirrely
When braking, the front end loves to bounce around due to nice China rotors
Try to avoid the burn out box, it just splatters water all over the inside of the car...hahahaha oops.

The car runs "between 12.5 and 12.9" there were no time slips handed out I just based it off of the runs against cars that know what they run....lol

Be very careful, if the drag racing bug gets into your system, it is almost impossible to find a cure. ;) The symptoms are easy to recognize, as you will stop caring how much a component actually costs, you will only want to know how much power it will produce.

For those wondering 140 KPH figures to about 87 (86.99) MPH.

haha yeah. I have always been curious, my wife used to bracket race and she was always talking about it.

Plus all the "What will it run" questions.

They were supposed to be handing out slips, but had some equipment issues. So hopefully next springs event will have them...lol

Have to say, it would be a very easy thing to get addicted to.

Man those are some very respectable times! Plus its good to see that you built your car for use, not just sit around at car shows. Totally awesome pics and post!

Wow! You're brave, ha ha. I really would like to try it but I know it will be FAST and with an unknown car....maybe after driving it for a while. Great pics BTW!

I ran my Corvette and my wife's Nissan Maxima on test and tune but they were relatively slow.
