Bucketeers C.C.

I searched and couldn't find anything. Has anybody ever though of starting a Bucketeers car club. Thought it seemed like a good idea with all the members on here.

Another C.C.?

Well, there's already the N.T.B.A. and another Buckethead group up in MN or something (Brigade?).
Wanna start another group that in ten years everyone will be complaining about on another website? LOL.

My sentiments exactly T-Odd.

Jim

The Minnesota group is the Bucket Brigade. I was a member for a couple of years. They used to have a lot of cruises and parked together at Back to the 50s but there were a lot of egos there. Of course there are a lot of egos at Back to the 50s too so it's probably a genetic thing or something. I don't do clubs anymore.

Guess I'd say I don't need a club, I have the site and that's enough for me. Ego's will always be around. Too bad 'cause they are counter-productive.

Its not even so much a c.c. I know about the NTBA nats., I think it would be cool for there to be a yearly event all the Bucketeer members could get together for. Yeah, I know another event, but I thought it would be cool. Just a thought.

My favorite event when I had my bucket was Saturday afternoon when 3 to 6 of us would meet up and cruise somewhere for dinner. Good fellowship and no entry fee. Or an early Sunday morning cruise where ever the road would take me.

We already have a club.

There are no dues and no membership cards.

We hold no meetings.

We have no officers.

We have no rules or bylaws.

We just try to get together by whatever means available to us, so we can enjoy our hobby.

Best club in the world, if you ask me. ;)

VERY well said Mike!

I agree 110%:D

I agree you can still meet up with the people that seem to have the same interests as you within driving distance and Enjoy their company and cars. With no actual club or officers.

:dummy:Note to self: Dont mention car club again.:o

But, on another note. If we ever need a place, I have 185 acres in central PA. Its nestled in the foothills of the Alleghenys.

Don't be too hard on your self Buckeye. If you want to have a rod trot there, pick a date and post it.

Ron

I was a member of the LA Roadsters years back.. Went to a cruise one time, was not the best weather, but OK, but all the big wigs drove up in a big Cad, left their cars at home in the garage... That told me something right then and there, do my own thing, where and when I want and do it will ALL the clubs if I like... So I quit after that run... Happy crusin :)

No, don't feel bad for bringing it up. It's free-thinking suggestions that allow all of us to improve.

I just think the majority of us are more into enjoying our rides than we are in putting up with all the drudgery of trying to operate an organization.

T-Buckeye, it's not a bad idea for a get-together.

Our local C.C.'s been "together" for four or five years with no rules, no leadership, etc.

We get together at least once a week, have a meal, go cruising or just park and sit to shoot the bull. We've attended lots of events together and have a blast. "Membership" fluctuates and there's no list kept, show up, hang out, go cruising, etc.

It's a Non-C.C. I guess. We once had someone walk up and ask how to become a member of the group.

the response was a little vague... but truthful.

If you have to ask, then you haven't hung out with us enough to know that there's no real rules, or membership, just a bunch of fun loving motorheads that hang out and occasionally call themselves a Car Club.

VERY similar to the vibe I get over here. We're all Bucket loving gear heads that happen to (right now and hopefully for a while in the future as well) get along great, chat about stuff we dig, look at pictures of cool stuff, occasionally complain about something that upset us (venting certainly helps.. even more if someone agrees with ya!), etc.

So if you have a time and place and want to invite some friends, it sounds like a great idea.

Kinda far for me to get up there but I'd LOVE to get up that way sometime to take some photos.

How far are ya from Fallingwater? 100 mile cruise?

T-odd Fallingwater is approx 95 miles away. My place is about 20 min. south of Punxsutawney, PA.

Riding mower, nahhh. Tractor yup.
