Only one I ever heard of was the Citroen 2CV Sahara. Front engine driving the front wheels, and rear engine driving the rear wheels.

I have to chuckle every time I see one of your posts ! I can relate, my Dad lived 97 years. I don't think he stop driving until about 85 or so. It was pretty scary!
