That is probably the simplest, clearest explanation I've seen that explains how a diff works. It may be dated, but the principle is the same today.

I think they already had the patent before that. Still fun to explore old ideas though, you may have been able to upgrade the old patent. Tinker Toys were the best as well as Lincoln Logs!!

Ya, I know they had that figured out way before my time, but was just thinking about how simple that was to figure out. Just takes the right minds working to do it. I am a Lego fan also.

Kids used to could figure out stuff that grownups couldn't. They thought outside the box with no preconceived thoughts about what it took to solve the problem. Now a days, they figure how to best use a computer or video game and not get caught by their parents. Things in life are so complicated these days. If only we could turn back the hands of time. Makes people lazy, ya know?
