Get it out and drive it and work on paint and stuff this winter. Mine is ugly but it sure is fun

Cooter, don't worry final paint. These cars look just as good in primer as they do in finish paint. I drove mine for a couple of years before painting it basically in the back yard. I highly advise that you use the same brand of primer as you plan to use for the finish for compatibility and longevity. As I've said many times, the paint that Summit sells is great and very inexpensive compared to major brands. It is very easy to use even for first timers and it looks great.

If you spray it with primer sealer and add catylist, it will hold up for a long time and be impervious to moisture and uv so you can go right over it later with fresh primer surfaced and paint. That's what I so with things that I don't get finished for final paint. Just a thought.
