Cornfused on a couple of items here

I have been reading up on electric choke hook up and HEI hook up and the more I read, the more I get cornfused! There is like a dozen different ways folks hook these things up. This is what I think I should do. Both the + wires from choke and dizzy go to the run terminal of ign. switch with inline fuses.

Good or No good?????

Choke hookup depends on the alternator you have. For a one-wire alt your only choice is to connect with the dist + circuit. You could put switch in the choke circuit and turn it on after the engine starts. If you have a standard alt you connect choke to the alt regulator 12v output. This would be the S terminals on a Ford Alt. Don't know answer for GM alt. The HEI dist is as you described above.
