So the double universal joint finally arrived and I am still having trouble finding a decent mounting location. The attached photos show what I think is the best layout possible for my situation.
This would be using CCR 21702 standard bracket which is about 1 3/8" tall and adding some spacers under the front mounting holes to tilt the box back slightly. The box is also slighty rotated counter clockwise when looking from the top so the movement of the pitman arm is in a straight line to the steering arm on the front spindle. By doing this it reduces some of the angles in the universal joints.
I'd love to hear yalls opinions. Unfortunately there isn't any way I can mount the box to be able to access the adjustment screw due to the engine/trans support plate/starter being in the way.
