Cowl Steering mount

I am at the point of starting to build a cage under the cowl of my 32 chevy sedan. I am goin to mount an f150 reversed box under the dash. Anyone have pics on the cage built under the dash. Also did you bolt it down to the frame or weld it to the frame and bolt it to the body? I can find info on reversing the box and mounting to the frame, but not on this.

There is a thread on club hotrod that has a cowl mt steering. The guy used another box but should be the same. When you go to the site at the top will be listed top posted threads. The thread with this info is "Another Build Thread". The guy is a good craftsman. He is building a Track T.

We use Mopar boxes for cowl steering (they are strong, plentyful, and don't have to be reversed). That being said, ALLWAYS mount the subframe to the frame! There is a lot of info on the HAMB forum that concerns cowl steering and some of the best builders of traditional rods in the world have written great tech post about traditional steering there. GOOD LUCK, MAN!
