Wanted Enclosed Car Trailer

Don't use silicone for any penetrations, use a polyurethane based sealant. It might take a few days to dry but it will not "roll" off. I use vulkem brand others are similar.
Thanks HenrysT, I will be making some cuts in the future and that's some good info. What do you mean by Roll Off?

Took 1 day to install railing which is 20' long. Had a kid to help me slide the awning into rail and hold ladder while I installed the 4 screws at top and let him go. Later I installed the 4 bottom screws and adjusted all and put finishing touches wit last 2 screws that keeps the awning material from sliding.
A canopy can be a god send when it 95°F out. I remember back in my racing days and the 10x20 foot canopy I had, wearing a drivers suit and working on the kart. Also had lots of people stopping to use the shade.

It's official, I placed my order with Rich at R&M Race trailers. Monday Rich will get back with me and give me a better date on delivery. He estimates that it will take about 3 months because of the 30 amp breaker panel (CT606A). I have 4 months before the NTBA Nationals in Townsend TN.

Final Configuration:

Ever seen silicone after a few expansion/contraction (heat/cool) cycles, and the edges are loose from the base material? You rub your fingers on it and it just "rolls off" from the base material? Seen where people use it around skylights etc. and wonder why it's leaking.

Don’t see anything about Chinese tariff. What happened to that? Did he wave it? Sounds like you will be real happy with that! Congrats!

Yeah, it's there! It's nearly the last line called "Factory Sur Charge" for $815. I asked about US steel, but didn't get an answer. I'm sure they are not going to make a change that doesn't show up in there normal day-to-day business as an option. Now if my name was John Force,or I looked like Courtney Force, it might have been a different story ! :(

Just their MONEY !!

Oh. I thought it was a grand before. My bad.
I think it was, but that was when the trailer total price was over $10,000, now it's only $8850 !!!

Somehow that doesn't make me feel much better ! :cautious:

Where is the factory?
It's in Waco Texas and no I can't pick it up myself and save $550. I asked, Texas started demanding that taxes were paid since it was being sold there.

I have another question, since I have the drawing for my approval now and it does not show a location for the fuse panel.

Where do I put the fuse panel for my 110v service? Any opinions?

The fuse panel will be powered by what they call a life line (extension cord) that drops thru a hatch in the floor.

Don't remember if you have floor cabinets, but put it in one or in a wall cabinet up high.. That way you wont be tripping over it.
I think it will come through the front wall and possibly through the floor.

Brown cover under red cabinet is my power distribution center and 10/3 gauge wire to the outside plug that went through the floor.

Yours will look like a house panel with breakers inside and will not furnish 12v to trailer or a battery charger built in.

I'm planning on cabinets up front. It will have an extension cord that goes thru the floor.

Your pics are too small to make out anything.

I decided to put the fuse panel 12 inches off the floor and 12 inches from where the V-Nose meets the side wall. It will eventually be inside a cabinet. In this location I figure it will be easy to route the extension cord to either side of the trailer depending on where 120v power is coming from. This is contrary to the typical location on the driver side wall according to R&M Race Trailer. I wanted to open the side door and without going inside, just drop the extension cord thru the floor. Time will tell if it works according to plan.

My trailer was supposed to be finished today, so I'm waiting to hear when my dealer
R&M Race Trailers will get it in for me to pickup. I've buying accessories in the mean
time and one of those is a tracker. I bought the Oyster 2 from LoneStar Tracking.
They just got them in, they have been on back order for several weeks.

In fact I'm using my tracker to track my shipment of the Oyster 2. LOL !
