Wanted Enclosed Car Trailer

Wondering what suggestions you all might have for protecting the floor ???

The floor will never be cleaner that it is the first day, so I was wanting to put something down before I put anything in the trailer.

We used porch paint on our floor. When we got to the ramp, we mixed in some grit that they sell in the paint area at Lowes.

I had a bad experience trying to drive in the trailer once with wet tires, therefore the grit. I also added a winch to pull the T in, if all else fails.

Looks like you mounted the winch to a receiver. I guess you just drop your winch in when you want to use it?

When I checked out porch paint, it said not to use with automotive tires. I guess you are having better luck, what brand did you use?

Does anyone have experience with the Haul Gauge or what's now called the BetterWeigh? Curt bought the rights to the Haul Gauge and changed the name.This device plugs into your OBDII port and uses an app on your phone.

Don't want a computer to tell me how much weight my Goat can pull--he'll holler or break down when it gets to be too much--just like the mules did when I grew up on the farm.

Very good to hear from you and your story! It was a lifesaver finding it when we searched for the angie email. We've bought and shipped large items in the past through boat dealers and vehicle stuff. We've paid for boats and vehicles with wire transfers before, so "she" got through our personal filters. The boat was gorgeous, a good savings, but not too much - it fit her story and we were thrilled with the really cool sounding shipping company and their website... All faked / spoofed / ghosted ...

We were so close to wiring money this morning. I'm still shaking. Robert almost argued with me when I told him he had to Angie before wiring... The shipping website and manager he talked with were that good. Now that we look everything over, we can see the signs.

Robert has started a couple of reports with fraud agencies and he'll work on that later. If you want to add to it, please join in! Keep posting about this crap; it saved our asses!

Well I went and picked up the trailer today. The Bogie wheels are already been used, thanks for the tip rbsWelder!!!

Bought Valspar Porch and Floor paint today, thanks rbsWelder and for all your other suggestions along the way.
