Thank you for posting that, I'm 65 years seasoned and it sure brought back a lot of really good memories.
 
Thanks for posting. I also love westerns. I always try to look ahead but that made me stop in my tracks and remember all the 'friends' I have lost. Loved it:lol:

I'm 48 but grew up watching those brought lots of memories ,but my favorite even to day is the Rounders with Henry Fonda and Glen Ford ,,would like to get that one on DVD,,LOL

Wow! Great link! By coincedence, I caught a marathon of The Rifleman Friday. They were celebrating it's 50th anniversary. I loved the old shows and still enjoy them when I catch them. Tons of memories and all good!

Someday Fred when we meet face to face... I'll tell ya a story about the Chuck Connors... but in a reader digest version... my first wife Bonnie (prior to us being married, I was 18 and she was 16) was an extra in a movie that was being filmed in Seattle because Chuck and her step dad knew each other from playing ball... Chuck kicked around in the minors and Lou went on to play with the Dodgers... Anyway, I went to go pick up Bonnie after a shoot and Bonnie introduced me to Chuck... I immediately knew he didn't care for me... later that night when Chuck and Lou got together, Chuck suggested to Lou that he should keep Bonnie away from me... She ran away, moved into my apartment, and they just let her stay! Within 6 months they planned a wedding and boom... I was 18 and married to a 16 year old wife... not a great plan for sure, but we are still good friends today...
 
I'll tell ya a story about the Chuck Connors... He did some porn when he was younger and it was with dudes.Go Figure
 
I don't think Chuck did that but the kid who played his son, Johnny Crawford, did in the late 60s early 70s. They didn't have porn like that when Chuck was young enough.

Just an addition to this. I remember Playboy magazine had a picture and brief paragraph about Crawford's porn career in a 'Sex in the Cinema' article way back when. His career skyrocketed from there, lol.
 
Sorry to say but back in the 80's i SAW the cut he was in.:eek:
 
I ain't buying it. I checked Wikipedia and there was no mention of anything remotely associating him with the porn industry. Of course his surviving family wouldn't want information like that out there. Johnny Crawford did appear nude in a movie in the late sixties or early seventies. The photo appeared in Playboy several years ago. Connors was married four times and has four kids. He was a staunch conservative. Of course none of this guarantees he didn't have a gay side but I find it pretty doubtful. I think the writer of that article was a crack pot trying to stir up some crap and appear smarter than he obviously is.

BUT i'll admit i was prolly a look alike.I'll stand on the look alike.
