Ford 460 BB in a T-frame

Hi,
Joe Speno (newbee) from Nashville Tn. I just purchased a Ford 460 c.i. off Ebay for $75.00 and am rebuilding it. Has anyone out there ventured to put a Big Block Ford in a standard T-frame ? Thank you

I'm not sure about here, but it's been done plenty. Real intimidating looking. Problems with hooking up all those ponies seem to be about the only bad thing about them. It doesn't take much to push an 1,800 lb. car around. I guess you could keep it tame, but if you do that, you might as well use a small block.

Oh, welcome to the forum.

You should get with Brian at Total He has a Big Block Chebby In his. From what he tells me it CAN and DOES get squirrly at times.Of coarse hes got a 380 something for the rear gear.

I have a 27 T with a 460 BB and a C6 trans. The car is not done yet, but it fits good with no room to spare.
