Todd, there is no difference in ride with or without one. It has nothing to do with front end wobble either. It is merely a lateral locator.

Well I will try this again hehe the pic is in my album here...old round fart said:Ted, Do you have any close-up pix of your front end setup?
It can not get any longer no matter what it does... As it is a flat spring when loaded, it can only get shorter... :lol:old round fart said:Thanks Ted. How do you account for the spring getting longer as it works?
I had to take a dump.. hehe I made the spring that way, as it is the safest way a spring can be, if you need height, change your spring mount, or you could use a spacer of some type to raise the chassis up... We used to run real wild arched springs on some AG/S cars, not the best idea... Live and learn, the more I learn, the more I know how little I know... :lol:old round fart said:O.K. then how do you account for that? Oh and by the way, what took you so long to respond? hehe
Your T sits just right,,, lookin great... I also put a 4 bar setup on my new chassis, not using heim joints on mine, are you? :lol:PotvinGuy said:It's definitely needed in a cross steer or rack and pinion setup (mine). My Speedway 4-bar came with it. I disconnected it once and the car was virtually undriveable, jerking left and right constantly.
