front shock mount

I need some ideas for the lower front shock mount. Anyone have anything they've done that points front to rear?

I need a lower mount. To mount the shock to where the spring or something.

Weld some small tabs to the axle. The bat wing on our axle has a provision for a shock to bolt to.

Depending on the type of axle you have and how the spring mounts, you can get spring shackles with an extra hole to mount the shock.

Sorry. Don't think I was making sence. Here is a pic. I need to some how mount the shock that way.

Come straight forward with the bottom of the shock and weld on some small tabs to the axle.

I was thinking of doing that. But wasn't sure about the look. Was hoping for a few other options. Then pick one.

Oops, I missed the "lower" part.

Here's how I did mine.The shackle is made from 1" dom 1/8" wall. bolt is a grade 8 milled with a 1" end mill and tig wilded to dom. Shock mount is made from 1 1/4" X 3/16" plate set at 60* to mount bolt. I have more info if you need it.

How about this. Made me some shock mounts today. Should work, right?
Just need to weld them on.

Here is what I did, I did not want to put any more stress on the spring bolt so I made a mount and welded it to the batwing.
