Front spring perch questions

Oooops! I copy and pasted Eggy's listing from the NTBA member search so I could compose an understandable response, but I forgot to delete the copy and paste! Sorry Eggy if you get a bunch of spam!!

This bucket was at the NTBA Nats in Colorado Springs in 2010. I don't know who owns it but someone else may. It is really in the weeds and may help you in your planning.

Nice looking ride! It looks like it's more of a long-n-low look....I'm going for a short-n-low look. Hopefully I'll be able to keep the length as close to 10' as possible, which is going to mean a sub 100" wheelbase...if I can.

That is Dave "Eggy" Eggebraaten's car. He is in Canyon Lake, TX. E-mail is xxxeggebraa10@gmail.comxxx (remove the x's). He has a Jag rear-end with bags. He said he really doesn't have much in the rear set-up, dollarwise. He doesn't run a compressor. He just has regular tire-type air valves in the bags and adjusts with an air hose. That is one of the smoothest riding Ts I have ever ridden in.

As it stands right now, my plan is to stick with the traditional suicide buggy spring set up on the front, and coil-overs in back. Bags would do nothing for me without a compressor set up
.

Building your fron suspension on an extremely low car can be real a problem. If you were to put a kick in the side rails just aft of the firewall you could probably use a standard front perch an front end assembly.
