Hairpins versus 4 Bar

I know the benefits of a 4 bar set up but like the looks of hairpins an also if I used hairpins on my front it would match my back end so I guess the question is can I get away with hairpins on the front when using a
2" drop axle from Ron, I read somewhere that your now supposed to use hairpins on a tube axle?????

100% yes you can. It will work very well.

Here is a link to one of the best articles on this subject: http://www.rodandcustommagazine.com...olid_axle_front_suspension_details/index.html

I have used Tube axles with hairpins and split bones on light cars with limited suspension travel and never had a problem.
