Hanging suspension on new frame

Ok I just aquired this new body and frame and would like to transfer my suspension over from my old frame to the new one. I need some advise on my old set up as I dont think its right (this is how I bought the project). The spring in in front of the rear axle, that dosent look right. I was thinking about buying a rear perch set up from Ron and put the spring behind the axle on the new frame, this would require lots of grinding and set up, any suggestions.
Also on the front should I go with a weld in pipe and perch or use one of Rons perch set ups for rear in the front on the square cross member thats already there, what are some thoughts. And if anyone sees anything wrong please point it out. Note the new frams on the white body how it kicks out and the firewall, is this ok?

the spring being in the front of the rear end is popular when you just want to show off the rear more. makes it look like there is no suspension there. with the "bones" or radius rods holding it in place, the rear works the same anyway. i'd say the look would be up to you. also, if the spring is in the back of the rear end on that kind of frame, you could run into problems with the rear end hitting the frame. you would have to have a longer mount to get it back far enough.

with that long t-deck you might want to find where the rear tires are gonna look the best first. You can add a crossmember for the spring any where you need it with that long rear portion of the frame. You could even use a Model A rear crossmember. There should be any cleaence problems with that Model A spring

As for the front spring perch, The current crossmember could be used. just be sure the gussets for the spring pad picks up at least 2 sides of the tube. 3 would be even better.

Nothing wrong with the spring mounting ahead of the rear housing, as a matter of fact it will ride a whole lot better there, than in back, remember leverage is key.... as far as that front crossmember, it is your choice as far as looks go. who ever cut the front piece should have left a tab on each side to box it all up strong... Have fun, build slow and steady, test everything all along the way.:D

Thanks guys, that puts me at ease, dont want to start of with a wrong idea and get worse. I have a problem with over building anyway, so I will keep it strong. Ron I will call next week and order up some spring perch's and end caps. Having a great time with the project. Im sure all of you do the same - i'll find my self sitting for an hour with a tape measure looking, thinking and measuring. -Don
