Hello to all

Lawntroll

New Member
Hello to all. I am new to this forum but I am not new to building. I am in the process of building a Racing Cub Cadet tractor for my grandson and a gas powered barbie jeep for the grandaughter. As my name says I am The Lawntroll, I have been called this because I like to mow lawn and have had and still have a lawn mowing business. I am a journyman maintance mechanic by trade, and work for a large NY based corp. I am at the stage in my life that I am looking to build a street rod, T-bucket or 32 roadster. From what I have read so far, this place is a wealth of information. I will quit ranting now.

Welcome from northern Wi . We just had lawnmower races here last weekend. They are pretty competitive.

Welcome from Northern Illinois.

The old IH Cubs were hell for stout. I'd guess that's why they make good racing material? I've owned an outdoor power equip business for 30 years, so I've seen a few of them (but not many left anymore).

Welcome to T-bucket land from SW Oregon,

Russ

I live in North Central Pennsylvania about 50 Miles from New York boarder. The Cub Cadet racer I am building is a twin to the 1225 that I had built as a racer about 3 years ago. I am using a briggs vanguard 12 hp with several ARC tricks and a peerless trans that is race modified. My tractor before had a briggs vanguard with head work, roller rockers, highlift cam, billit flywheel, header and flowed carb. I am also an old gokart racer and still race when the mood and time permit.

Welcome :hoist:
