Himsl Paint Job

I aquired this Bucket from a fella in Sacramento. I think he said it was built at the same time as Andys Instant "T". The story goes that a man named Fred Logan and Andy Brizio were involved with three himsl painted "T"s and one was supposed to have won the ABR in 69 or 70. It's still original and runs scary. Any help will be great.General 282.jpgGeneral 352.jpgGeneral 350.jpgGeneral 351.jpgGeneral 356.jpg

I remember Andy's car that won and it did have a paint job close to that, but I don't think that is the car. That one is nice.

That Bucket looks VERY familiar. I have a faint memory of it being in an issue of Rod Action. Sometime in the 70's. It's very close to Himsl's style. Of course, he wasn't the only one doing that style, but if that's someone elses work, they got it down.

Very cool 70's style. The style I first fell in love with.

I think Fred is right, Rod Action seemed to have at least one of those on the cover or as a feature. I have the magazine in one of the boxes of books I have at the shop, if I recall.
