How hot is it in your shop today? One of our buildings is air conditioned, so it is nice inside. The building where we do all the plasma cutting in a steel building with no insulation, and it has a black roof. So it was kind of toasty in there this afternoon. This was shot at the steel roof. At working height it was 115, glad I was just in there for a few minutes.

103 outside and 95 inside the shop all fans on high. Looks like its going to be this way all week. I'm gonna start at 5 am and cut back to light stuff at noon until this lets up.

It was a balmy 85 in the garage, so instead of fighting the heat, I spent the day inside doing some more interior work.

93° with a heat index number of 103°. Crisp, invigorating and refreshing, compared to what you're dealing with, Ron.

It's 90 outside right now and 74 in the shop. No air ... most of it is underground. Still muggy in there tho. Had a good day so far. Got the rear axle spring mounts made and welded and took the front spring apart, reversed the eyes, cleaned it and primed it. Gonna order pizza and pull the front brakes apart yet today.

I dont have a "shop¨ only a normal garage. Today, working in my BMW, is about 85 F!!!

101 outside and about 80 in the shop with AC on and fans moving the air it's livable, In the house for supper and then back out in the shop,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :smashpc:

Thanks, I will post up some more pics once I actually get to sewing, today was spent making templates and laying out 50+ pleat lines that I need to sew tomorrow.

I tinker around outside, only in the very early morning or just around sun set. The heat index has been around 105 for the last few weaks. No relief in sight.

91 right now ... heat index 115 ... going back in the shop ... it's 77 in there!!

2:00 PM, 92° F / 33° C plus 71% humidity = heat index of 113° F / 45° C. Yippee, flippin' skippy.

My shop is a one car garage but it is all I got so I put a big window unit in it. It's a little crowded but I get by, and it's cool.
