I think your right Ron it's a great design but you could build a version for a lot less. And a 8.8 explorer rear is all aluminum I have built at least 100 for ford.

I'd have to do some figuring. I would think at least 1/3 of that price is profit. But they aren't building them as a favor.

I got a 7.5(?) from a Tbird in a trade. It's too wide for anything I would build. Had done some thinking on it, just didn't seem like it would be good for me
