June Donations

Sorry to say donations this month are slow in coming in.
We are at a total of $65 so far, and I would like to thank those who have helped contribute.

I know things are tough, especially with fuel prices being so ridiculous, but I would love to see more people set up a regular donation through paypal as a couple of you have already done.

Just wanted to give everyone an update, since I have not had a chance to reinstall the donation app that had been running on here.

I just made a donation. Im not asking an ata boy, I'm just saying I have a hard time remembering to donate. It's not a money issue. Its a remember-to do-it thing. I mentioned some time before that it might help to send out a friendly reminder that its time to donate. That might be the kick in the pants to remind all of us (me, especially) to donate. It only takes a minute or so to donate i really appreciate having this site, Its a great place to share information with other bucket heads! I would hate to see it go down because of financial reasons! Think about it! I cant see how people would be offended by the reminder. If you can do it, thats great. If you can't, I'm sure people will understand. Some times a few bucks makes a difference.

Thank you Bill, there have been a few members like you who have stepped up this month to help out. There are also a few members who have setup auto donations that get sent every month, which is great.

Not sure how everyone would feel about me sending out a message every month with a "friendly" reminder. I don't want to be a pain in the butt.
Just looked up and the forum software does have a system where I can send out a bulk message to everyone, this would not be to your email, but as a message here in the forums.

How does everyone feel about this happening?
I don't want anyone to leave here because they are upset with getting a message like that every month.

Mike, the previous owner, used to post how we were doing each month. Good or short. Maybe it was his way of poking the sleeping bear! That's all I'm going to say!
