Level engine?

When I made my engine mounts I made sure the engine was level, well across the Carb anyhow. When it was all finished I discovered I'd made a small error of calculus as the front of the car sank 2" Dohhh!!!! Not to worry, she'll be right on the day. :whistling:

Guys, I think you're placing far too much emphasis on getting the carb level. If you look at intake dimensions, they vary from intake to intake. Edelbrock always used A/B dimensions, which amount to laying a long straightedge across the carb mounting pad and measuring up from the end seal surfaces at front and rear. On the SBC Performer, the rear dimension is 1.06" higher than the front. On the SBC Performer Air Gap, the rear is 1.20" higher. On the SBC Performer RPM, it is 1.05". On the SBC Torker II, the dimension is 1.10". Does this mean you need to move the mounts, if you decide you want to swap intakes?
