Looking for 56gm rear end rebuild kit

Where is the best place to get a rebuild kit I found one for 140 online but dont want to spend $ on crap parts

I don't know about a "kit" but I would start at my local NAPA. Returns are much easier and quicker that way.

Years ago ,I bought a rebuild kit for a 55-64 gm from California Gear, I believe they go by Chrismans now. It was a great price, complete ring and pinion, new carrier bearings , shims and crush sleeve.
